The TEC MA-1650 is a highly sophisticated and versatile system with an extended range of POS features and capabilities. The TEC MA-1650 can be used in a fully independent standalone application or as an integral part of a sophisticated retail system. High profile system level features include bar code (UPC) scanning, inter-register communications, high order communications (PC), data capture, and comprehensive report compilation.

The TEC MA-1650 can be used to create a Master/Satellite system of up to sixteen (16) terminals without requiring an in-store controller. Best of all, these extensive system capabilities are available in a product that is very affordable.

Multiple Model Availability

The MA-1650 is available in multiple basic models. All models feature a raised keyboard, the new TEC Receipt/Journal Printer, a large cash drawer with media slot and other advanced and useful hardware features. The hardware features that will differ in the basic models being offered are: single line vs. two line operator display and single line vs. multiple line receipt/journal printer validation (check endorsement).

Programmable Keyboard

The TEC MA-1650 offers a fully programmable keyboard with a maximum of 88 key positions. You can organize the keyboard to meet your specific application requirements and for optimum cashier efficiency.

Easy-To-Read Operator Display

The operator display is offered in two (2) user friendly and easy to read versions. The basic operator display features a single line of ten (10) large size 7 segment numeric characters and eight (8) tri-mark descriptors to denote various system statuses.

An enhanced operator display contains all of the basic display features plus a second display line of sixteen (16) alphanumeric characters. a sixty four (64) character scrolling message can be displayed on the alphanumeric line. The enhanced operator display is a factory option.

High-Quality Dot Matrix Printer

The TEC MA-1650 is equipped with a new and very capable TEC developed receipt and journal printer. The printer produces highly legible and well organized receipt and journal tapes in a generous twentyfour (24) column print format. Many very useable features including but not limited to the following, are provided.
